Getting to Camp

The Camp at Carmel Valley is tucked into the hills of Carmel Valley, about 30 minutes inland from the California coast.

Because of its remote location, we recommend planning your transportation in advance.

Flying

For those traveling by air, the nearest airports are:

Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) — approximately 30 minutes

San Jose International Airport (SJC) — approximately 1.5 hours

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) — approximately 2 hours

Driving

From San Diego
Approximately 7–8 hours north via I-5 N and US-101 N

From San Francisco / Bay Area
Approximately 2.5 hours south via US-101 S

Transportation

We strongly recommend renting a car for the weekend.

Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are extremely limited in Carmel Valley, especially in the evenings. Having your own transportation will make travel to and from camp much easier.

Carpooling with other guests is encouraged.

Arrival

Check-in at camp will begin Friday afternoon. Additional details and timing will be shared closer to the date.

We recommend arriving with enough time to settle in before the welcome gathering.

Important Notes

Cell service can be limited once you reach the property. We recommend saving directions in advance.

When using GPS, it may overshoot the entrance — look for mile marker 14.8 on East Carmel Valley Road.
